SUMMARY:Unmasking With Compassion: A Neurodiversity-Affirming Mindfulness Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Many people with ADHD\, autism\, or learning differences learn to hide parts of themselves just to get through the day. \nThey mask to fit in\, stay safe\, or avoid judgment. But living like this can be exhausting. \nWhat happens when you stop performing and start listening to yourself instead? \nIn Unmasking with Compassion\, we meet monthly to gently explore what masking costs you — and what becomes possible when you meet yourself with kindness instead. Using mindfulness\, self-compassion\, and simple tools from Nonviolent Communication\, you’ll practice noticing your real needs\, softening your inner critic\, and trying small\, brave moments of being more yourself. \nThis is a calm\, neurodivergent-affirming space where you don’t have to pretend.\nAll parts of you are welcome — especially the ones you’ve been told to hide. \nAbout the facilitator\nMary-Carmen Wiser (she/her) is a mindfulness educator\, facilitator\, and community builder with a Master’s in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University. She creates warm\, trauma-aware spaces where women\, neurodivergent people\, and queer folks can reconnect with themselves\, release stuck emotions\, and practice self-compassion as a powerful tool for healing. \nHer work blends meditation\, psychology\, body-based practices\, and deep care. She helps people soften their inner critic\, untangle internalized messages\, and build more honest connection — within themselves and with others.

SUMMARY:Nurturing the Womb
DESCRIPTION:Through sacred womb massage practices rooted in Maya healing traditions\, breathwork\, and embodied awareness\, we will cultivate a deeper relationship with the womb\, pelvis\, and the wisdom held within her. This is an invitation to slow down\, listen\, and bring loving presence to a part of ourselves that has often been neglected\, judged\, or disconnected from. \nGuided by the understanding that we are our own medicine\, we will explore what becomes possible when compassion is offered through our own hands\, creating space for healing\, remembrance\, and a deeper connection to the wisdom of the womb. \nStephanie Hupp MSEd\, LMBT#17760 is a womb healing bodyworker and founder of Awakening Bodywork for Women\, devoted to supporting women in reconnecting with their bodies and inner wisdom. SUMMARY:Liberating Emotion
DESCRIPTION:What happens when grief\, rage\, joy\, and pleasure are finally given permission to move? \nThrough Swamping\, a guided somatic movement experience\, we will explore the emotions that have been suppressed\, silenced\, or stored within the body. Supported by music\, movement\, and embodied expression\, you will be invited to move beyond words and allow the body to express what it has long been holding\, creating space for greater freedom\, authenticity\, and emotional aliveness\, leaving us feeling more grounded\, connected\, and at home within ourselves. \nStephanie Hupp MSEd\, LMBT#17760 is a womb healing bodyworker and founder of Awakening Bodywork for Women\, devoted to supporting women in reconnecting with their bodies and inner wisdom.
