SUMMARY:Returning to Our Wombs: A Day of Embodiment & Sisterhood
DESCRIPTION:An intimate\, heart-centered retreat for women to soften\, open\, and reconnect — with our wombs\, our bodies\, and one another. \nOn June 7th\, you are invited into a gently held and nurturing space where we will explore our relationship with our wombs in a way that feels safe\, honoring\, and deeply supportive. \nTogether\, we will create a space to soften… to listen… and to be witnessed in sisterhood. \nThrough guided practices\, movement\, and ritual\, we will tend to the body as a temple… awakening the connection between womb and heart\, and honoring the patterns we carry with compassion and curiosity. \nThis day retreat is intentionally intimate (limited to 6 women)\, allowing for depth\, safety\, and meaningful connection. \nTogether\, we will explore:\n• The roots of disconnection from our wombs — social\, cultural\, and emotional\n• Grounded\, empowering awareness of our pelvic and reproductive anatomy\n• A guided meditation to connect with and adorn our wombs as a sacred inner temple\n• Gentle\,self-led womb massage practices\n• Soft\, nourishing movement to ground into our roots\, gently opening the hips and pelvis\n• Intuitive\, expressive movement to awaken the natural rhythm of the body\n• Space for sharing\, witnessing\, and heartfelt connection in sisterhood\n• Time in nature for quiet reflection\, journaling\, and spacious integration \nWe will close with time in nature for silent integration\, allowing each woman to settle inward at her own pace\, before returning to circle to gently land and share. \nThis is a space to be held.\nA space to open.\nA space to come home — together. \nThis event needs to be paid and registered on EVENTBRITE.

SUMMARY:Unmasking With Compassion: A Neurodiversity-Affirming Mindfulness Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Many people with ADHD\, autism\, or learning differences learn to hide parts of themselves just to get through the day. \nThey mask to fit in\, stay safe\, or avoid judgment. But living like this can be exhausting. \nWhat happens when you stop performing and start listening to yourself instead? \nIn Unmasking with Compassion\, we meet monthly to gently explore what masking costs you — and what becomes possible when you meet yourself with kindness instead. Using mindfulness\, self-compassion\, and simple tools from Nonviolent Communication\, you’ll practice noticing your real needs\, softening your inner critic\, and trying small\, brave moments of being more yourself. \nThis is a calm\, neurodivergent-affirming space where you don’t have to pretend.\nAll parts of you are welcome — especially the ones you’ve been told to hide. \nAbout the facilitator\nMary-Carmen Wiser (she/her) is a mindfulness educator\, facilitator\, and community builder with a Master’s in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University. She creates warm\, trauma-aware spaces where women\, neurodivergent people\, and queer folks can reconnect with themselves\, release stuck emotions\, and practice self-compassion as a powerful tool for healing. \nHer work blends meditation\, psychology\, body-based practices\, and deep care. She helps people soften their inner critic\, untangle internalized messages\, and build more honest connection — within themselves and with others.

SUMMARY:Womyn Who Swamp: Somatic Release

SUMMARY:Mindfulness for Women with ADHD: Working with the Inner Critic (5th class)
DESCRIPTION:The way you talk to yourself matters. \n\nAs women with ADHD\, it’s not our fault that we are so mean to ourselves. \nBut it is our responsibility. \n\nYou are not broken.\nYour brain is not the problem.\nAnd this is not a place to be fixed —\nIt is a place to remember who you are beneath the noise. SUMMARY:Unmasking with Compassion: A Neurodiversity Affirming Support Group

SUMMARY:Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yuko)
DESCRIPTION:Step into the quiet hush of the forest and allow yourself to be held by the earth. Together\, we’ll move slowly\, guided by presence\, breath\, and the whispers of the trees. Forest bathing is not about distance or destination—it’s about arriving fully where you are. \nWith gentle invitations rooted in mindfulness\, we’ll awaken our senses\, soften our pace\, and open to the medicine of the natural world. In this shared stillness\, the forest becomes our teacher\, offering rest\, renewal\, and connection. \nCome as you are—no experience needed. Leave with your body and spirit nourished\, your heart more spacious\, and your nervous system soothed by nature’s embrace. \nOur space is nestled within the human world\, so along with the stillness of our practice\, you may also notice the gentle presence of everyday life—traffic and neighborhood sounds in the background. We choose to practice with everything in life.

SUMMARY:Women Who Swamp: Somatic Release DISCOUNTED MONTH
DESCRIPTION:In this womyn’s only event\, I will create a safe and brave space for you to participate in a ritual around the expression of grief\, rage\, and sensuality. \nThe pain within you wants to be met with your full presence. Only then will it transform into power. \nYour sensuality is YOURS alone. Let’s reclaim it. \nImagine the power of witnessing your body\, without shaming it\, judging it\, or dismissing it. Yes\, it IS possible. \nWe will practice a somatic exercise and ritual called Swamping from Mama Gena. This sacred and essential experience is a powerful disruption to the suppression\, avoidance\, and depression we are used to in our daily lives. These rituals and tools will support you in moving the energy that has been waiting for your attention. \nParticularly if you have autoimmune diseases\, you may want to try this exercise with our small group. There is a catharses that happens when we allow ourselves to express the energies within our bodies. \nWe aren’t alone. Come join other brave women who are done pretending they are “fine”. \nSpace is limited to 6 womyn. All equipment is provided.

SUMMARY:Navigating the Inner Dialogue of Women with ADHD: Create Space for Needs
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever prioritized others’ needs so much that you don’t even know what you need? \nWhat if feeling frustrated or overwhelmed was actually a sign of an unmet need\, not a personal failing? \nJoin us for the third session of NVC for Women\, where we’ll explore how unmet needs influence our inner dialogue and emotional patterns. This session will help you deepen your understanding of the core needs that drive self-critical thoughts\, and how to approach these needs with self-compassion and mindfulness. \nThrough guided reflection and interactive practices\, we’ll work together to identify these underlying needs and discover ways to nurture them in a kind and supportive way. The focus will be on developing greater emotional awareness\, while also learning how to show up for yourself with compassion and care. \nThis session is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and continue on your path of growth\, self-awareness\, and healing. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!

SUMMARY:Womyn Who Swamp: Somatic Release
DESCRIPTION:Release. Reclaim. Remember.\nIn this womyn’s-only gathering\, you’ll be held in a safe and brave space to move through the powerful emotions of grief\, rage\, and sensuality—energies so often shut down by patriarchal conditioning. SUMMARY:Navigating the Inner Dialogue of Women with ADHD: Create Space for Feelings
DESCRIPTION:Do you ever struggle to put words to what you’re feeling\, only to end up overwhelmed or shutting down? \nWhat if your emotions weren’t the problem\, but rather powerful messengers guiding you toward what you truly need? \nWhat if taking responsibility for your emotions and needs gave you more freedom\, not less? \nJoin us for the second session of NVC for Women\, where we’ll dive deeper into recognizing and naming our emotions through a trauma-sensitive and mindfulness-based lens. This session will focus on creating a safe space for women to become more aware of their inner dialogue around emotions and reactions\, allowing for greater self-compassion and understanding. \nWe’ll explore how ADHD can impact emotional experiences and guide you through fictional scenarios to bring awareness to automatic and unconscious emotional reactions. Through group discussions\, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences and connect with others\, fostering a sense of community where women feel seen\, heard\, and understood. \nTo further support your journey\, we’ll also enjoy a mini sound bath\, offering soothing sounds to help calm the nervous system and enhance your emotional awareness. \nThis session is designed to build trust\, support your emotional awareness\, and provide a shared space for growth and healing. We look forward to continuing this transformative journey with you.

SUMMARY:Weekly Beginner Meditation Class
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a weekly Meditation Session with a friendly\, experienced mindfulness facilitator. \nWe will have an opening circle and introductions. The facilitator will offer her experience and options for the meditation. We will have two kinds of meditations\, sitting and walking. Each mediation will only be 15 minutes\, perfect for the beginner. It’s almost always easier to meditate in a small group. \nWe’d love to have you join us—no experience or equipment needed\, just an open mind and heart.
